Gum Cheen Gai Golden Coin Pork


1# Pork Loin


1 ½ Tbl                        Shao Hsing

3 Tbl                            Honey

1 Tbl                            Hosin Sauce Fat

1 Tbl                            Ground Bean Paste

1 oz                              Oyster Sauce

1 oz                              Soy Sauce

1 ½ Tbl                        Sugar

1 oz                              Catsup

1 tsp                             Fermented Red Yeast



1. Slice Pork into ¼ inch Slices.

2. Prepare Marinade and Soak Pork for 8 hours or overnight

3. Preheat oven to 400° Spread pork out in Single Layer over an oven rack

4. Bake 15-20 min or until done. Turning every 5 minutes and brushing with glaze.

5. Remove and cut into small “coin” size pieces


  • Traditionally served with a steamed bun
  • Could be served hot or cold
