Onigiri Rice Balls


2 cups                          Rice, sushi, cooked

1 sheet                         Nori

1/2 cup                                    Furakake*

2T                                Sesame seeds, lightly toasted (optional)



  1. Flatten 2T of cooked rice in the palm of your hand
  2. Place 1t of filling in the center
  3. Fold the rice into an oval shape keeping the filling enclosed
  4. Wrap a strip of nori around the onigiri or lightly coat/roll in sesame seeds
