Thailand- Kao Hohm Mali (Jasmine Rice)


                 2 cups                     Jasmine rice

3 cups                     Cold water

Pinch                      Salt



  1. Rinse rice to remove starch and talc
  2. Place rice, water and salt in a heavy bottom pan and bring to a boil
  3. Stir and reduce heat
  4. Cover and cook for 20 minutes without removing lid
  5. remove from the flame and allow to rest covered for ten minutes
  6. Remove lid and fluff, serve
