Kiwi Citrus Grilled Salmon

Hello Chef Fan’s, I wanted to go ahead and post a recipe that I had earlier this week that turned out fantastic. It is very simple and easy and it give you a chance to use your grill.

You will need:

1lb Salmon filet (Skin on)

1 Kiwi

1 Lemon sliced very thin

1 Orange sliced very thin

Slat & Pepper

1 oz good Balsamic Virginia

1 oz Butter

Directions:

Score the salmon skin with a knife and season with salt and pepper on both skin and flesh side.

mash kiwi and spread on flesh side of salmon then layer lemons and then oranges on top of this Let this sit while you get your grill lit and ready to go.

Combined the butter and balsamic vinegar together so that you can glaze the salmon while it is cooking.

Grill skin side down for about 10-15 min or until it reaches the desired done-ness*

*Cleaning & rubbing your grill rack with a little bit of oil first will help prevent the skin from sticking

 

Sadly this smelled to delicious when it came off the grill and I forgot to get a picture of the final project….

    This sounds so good, I’m going to stop on the way home tonight and pick up salmon. How about this and asparagus risotto. Can;t wait until dinner and it’s not even noon here. xoxoxoxox Grandma

      How did this turn out for you? I think an asparagus risotto would go great with the salmon.
